How to Credit

With two exceptions (see below), we do not require, but greatly appreciate!, credits when you use our offerings in a formal broadcast production, film, on the web, magazine article, or the like. Note: Our business name is also our URL: WeatherVideoHD.TV

If the asset used is part of our own collection, please use as the credit line:

If the asset used was provided by a site contributor, please include their name. How do you find it?

Simple. Just type in the 4 or 5 digit Asset ID (say, 6219 or 10243) into the Simple Search box, and press search.

At the end of Description information under the video/image, if there is a name of a person or organization provided for the Video or Photo Credit, please use that in this format:

Tom Warner / WeatherVideoHD.TV or NASA / WeatherVideoHD.TV

Exception (1): We also license illustrations created by the American Meteorological Society on their behalf. It is required that, if used, the proper credit be provided. The text for the CREDIT LINE will be found at the end of the data bank below the image.

• Midlatitude Synoptic Meteorology (American Meteorological Society)

(If space is an issue, AMS can be used as an abbreviation)

Exception (2): Some assets provided by government agencies, such as NASA, do sometimes require credits for use. Please see the Description section beneath the preview image for any such requirements.
